Overview

One of the first high-quality music magazine apps in Germany — built for Rolling Stone DE at a time when most publisher apps felt like PDFs with scroll. We shipped a real product.

Achievement

Shipped a polished, App Store-published iOS app with native-feel interactions built entirely in web technology — coverflow archive browser, editorial content, and a music quiz. Part of the same engagement that produced a custom entitlement server for stakeholder and subscriber access.

Outcomes

• ◆ Built the coverflow-style album and issue archive — smooth, gesture-driven, indistinguishable from a native app despite being Angular/HTML5
• ◆ Delivered the interactive music quiz as a standalone branded feature
• ◆ The entitlement server (separate project) enabled controlled access for editorial stakeholders first, later extended to real subscribers
• ◆ Published to the App Store as a finished, branded product — not a prototype
