Overview
Turning PlayStation's internal infrastructure capabilities into coherent products via UI, API and service modelling — coordinated across provider, architecture and product stakeholders.
Achievement
I lead the platform program as business owner and set its internal-first, tenant-aware direction. I led the integrated pre-production version covering accounts, network, object storage and ticketing across UI and API, and defined the provider onboarding path. Before the production target I escalated staffing, site-reliability (SRE) and timeline risks to leadership.
Outcomes
- ◆ Named platform program owner (business owner)
- ◆ Integrated pre-production version across accounts, network, object storage and ticketing (UI + API)
- ◆ Defined the provider onboarding path as a program outcome
- ◆ Escalated production-readiness risks (staffing, SRE dependencies, timeline) before the production target
Key Learning
Shaping an internal platform taught me to separate near-term internal value from long-term architectural options, and to make trade-offs explicit for leadership instead of letting dependencies decide silently.
