Overview
Long-running real estate website for a Berlin residential development — built on a CMS so the client could keep it current as apartments sold, without needing a developer for every update.
Achievement
Ran as a highly profitable long-term engagement from 2015 to 2019. The key was solving the right problem: the client needed to manage their own content reliably, and I built a process that made updates almost effortless — for them and for me.
Outcomes
- ◆ Designed the CMS setup specifically around the client's workflow — updating sold/available status and adding new floor plans without any developer involvement
- ◆ Built a recurring automation script for my own content update process — when new floor plans or data arrived, running the script handled the integration instead of manual documentation or steps
- ◆ The combination of client autonomy and a clean internal process made this unusually low-friction to maintain over 4 years
- ◆ The client stayed happy throughout — the site always looked polished, inventory was always current, and changes happened fast
- ◆ Became one of GeilDanke's most profitable projects relative to the ongoing effort it required
